IFM Photoelectric Distance Sensors


Photoelectric distance sensors are used where safe and non-contact detection of the exact position of objects is required. The IMF photoelectric distance sensor uses time-of-flight measurement which allows for a very long range.

Features and Benefits


• The IMF sensor measures distances in the range of 0.03m and 2m, with a background suppression of up to 20m.

• Reliable recognition of glossy surfaces with background suppression and colour independent detection.

• IO-link enables user friendly communication, which is also possible via connection using a USB adapter cable.

• Manually adjustable parameter setting using a turnable and lockable setting ring.

• The IMF sensor has an M30 barrel and an M12 connector.
