Absolutely, a number of safety features are built in to these Pfaff pump trucks.

• Reinforced pallet entry rollers - The small wheels provide a smooth entry into the pallet and stop any forced pushing or pulling movement.

• Spring guards - The spring guards stop any damage to the operator or near by personnel. Users will be unable to put their fingers near the spring if used incorrectly. Also in the unlikely event the mechanism fails, the spring will not fire out, as it will be caught by the guard.

All of the trucks available use a manual lift operation, pallet trucks work by sliding the forks into the open area underneath the pallet, the user will then use the pump action with the handle to lift the load on the pallet. Once lifted off the ground, with careful handling, the pallet can then be moved around the desired space with minimal effort depending on the terrain. Storage spaces are often filled with these trucks due to the constant handling and movement of heavy goods.

Warehouse operatives are the main users of a pallet trolley. It's not unusual to find both forklifts and pump trucks in these areas. The positions may vary depending on the model, however the operations are usually lift, lower and drive. In the drive position, the pallet truck can be maneuvered around large and narrow spaces. The lower function of the trolley will carefully drop the pallet of goods to the floor.
