With its type B tripping characteristics, this breaker is ideal for protecting resistive loads such as lighting or electronic circuits. What's the difference between an MCB and a fuse?


Both an MCB and a fuse protect equipment against damage from overcurrents and people from electric shock. The main difference is that a fuse is single-use and always has to be replaced once blown. On the other hand, you can reset a tripped MCB after you've identified and fixed the fault that caused it to cut the electrical flow.
