ABB MCB, DIN Rail Mounting, Type-D Tripping - System Pro M Compact Series - S201-D6

Put the brakes on excess currents with this MCB from ABB. It's built with two tripping mechanisms to give circuits a high level of protection from electrical faults. A thermal trip safeguards against overloads, while an electro-mechanical trip stops short circuits from causing harm. The D-type unit breaks a circuit when currents between 10 and 20 times the 6A full load are detected. This means the device is handy for tackling in-rush currents on circuits with highly inductive loads.

Features & Benefits

• Twin terminals enable the separate feeding of busbars and conductors, so you don't get your wires crossed
• Red and green contact position indicators make it a user-friendly device

Applications

• Motor control
• Industrial automation
• Medical devices
• Assembly lines

What's the advantage of choosing an MCB with screw terminals?

The screw terminals on this MCB mean you can get a reliable wire attachment just by using a Pozidriv number 2 screwdriver. As they're captive terminals, there's no danger of losing your screws. A bi-directional, cylinder-lift design means the unit's safer to install and wiring errors are minimised, so you get a faff-free and dependable connection.
