Allen Bradley Mini Circuit Breaker, 10kA Breaking Capacity, 50A Current Rating - 1492-SPM3C500

This Allen Bradley 3-pole miniature circuit breaker (MCB) from Rockwell Automation prevents your electrical equipment from short circuiting due to current overloads. When the 10kA (kiloamps) maximum current allowance is reached, the switch uses a thermal-magnetic mechanism to trip the current off. The device is a reliable way to protect the wiring of your electrical devices and it also has an IP20 (ingress protection) rating to ensure it's safe to touch without risk of electric shock.

• Screw terminals improve resistance to impact shocks or industrial vibration• Fast clips for quick and secure fixing to a DIN rail• Operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, so suitable for use in harsh conditions• Can be installed with up to six auxiliary elements for extra protection

Standards and Certifications

• UL (Underwriters' Laboratories)• CSA (Canadian Standards Association)• CE (Conformité Européenne)• VDE (Verband der Elektrotechnik)

How can I tell whether the switch has tripped?

The MCB switch will be in the upward-facing position when on and facing down when the switch is tripped. There's also an indicator window for extra clarity, showing a red bar when on and a green bar when off.
