Our Bulletin 450L GuardShield™ POC safety light curtains are unlike traditional safety light curtains, which are based on separate transmitter and receiver units. Patented technology allows each transceiver to be used as a transmitter or receiver via an innovative plug-in module. The 450L-B is the basic model with on/off functionality. The advanced 450L-E model features integrated laser alignment, cascading, blanking, and integrated muting.

Features an active protective field that senses over the entire length of a transceiver

Provides easy configuration of the start mode, external device monitoring (EDM), and scanning range by DIP switches on the plug-in modules

This safety device can be used with Guardlink, a new safety linking technology from Allen Bradley Guardmaster.
Guardlink simplifies and reduces the connection time of the safety system, whilst providing real-time diagnostic information over Ethernet IP. This makes it simple to identify the location of the device that has tripped the safety system, thus reducing downtime, and improving the machines overall efficiency.
