Allen Bradley Enclosed Non-Fused Isolator Switch, 3 Pole, 7.5kW - 194E-Y16M-1753-4N

This non-fused isolator switch from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range connects to your low-power machines to isolate power safely without using a fuse trip. When turned, the rotary lever locks the circuit in isolation. The switch can be used when a machine is still in use, meaning you can carry out maintenance checks safely. You'll find devices like this commonly applied to circuit breakers, transmission lines and transformers with a maximum current of 16 amps.

How is this switch wired up?

The terminals support an M25 to M32 cable entry for small to medium-sized connectors. The third pole keeps the switch earthed to prevent electric shocks. In addition to the three-pole contact, an auxiliary contact can be added to the switch body in the enclosure to signal malfunctions.
