RS PRO Ceramic Heating Element, 245 mm, 500 W, 230 V AC


This heating element from RS PRO is well-suited to a range of industrial applications, including drying and curing paints and varnishes. It has a curved ceramic shell that can handle temperatures of up to +700°C. The element uses long-wave infrared technology to efficiently convert 96% of its input power into heat.

A glazed surface offers increased resistance to corrosion and oxidation for operation in challenging working environments. It has a long working lifetime of 10,000 hours, which reduces time spent on maintenance and eliminates the need to interrupt long curing processes.

In addition to softening and moulding plastics, ceramic heating elements such as this one can also be used for baking food in commercial settings. We recommend connecting a temperature control unit to the heater in order to ensure optimal performance.
