RS PRO Heating Element
Use this circular heating mat from RS PRO to generate high temperatures in a compact space. It's less than 1 mm thick, so it won't add bulk to your set-up. It can heat up to +200°C rapidly for quick application of heat.
This heating element is easy to keep clean, as the Kapton© polyimide (PI) material is durable enough to tolerate frequent cleaning and sterilisation. The material also has excellent electrical insulation, meaning it's safe to attach directly to metal components.
The heating mat is safe to use in your workplace, as it won't release gases when heated. This makes it ideal for use in laboratories and medical applications. For maximum efficiency, you can use it with a limit switch and a thermocouple to sense and regulate the temperature.
