These Kapton© heater mats from RS PRO are a reliable solution when you need fast and precise heating, such as in laboratory research and computer equipment. They're made of Kapton© – a thin, organic and semi-transparent heating material that's resistant to chemicals, fungi and bacteria – so they make a good choice in medical sterilization settings. You can ensure optimum performance by combining this unit with thermal control devices like PT100s, thermocouples and limit switches.

These heater mats are typically used in military and aerospace applications due to their low outgassing properties. This is due to their weather- and ozone-resistant traits that enable them to operate at a wide temperature range of -60°C to +200°C.
