Moulded from hardwearing ABS plastic, it's a safe bet if you want a rugged solution to protect your small PCBs from scrapes and knocks. The lap-joint construction style helps prevent contaminants and moisture from getting in, earning the unit an IP54 rating when it's closed and sealed. This means it keeps out most dust and splashes of water from all directions. You get two #4 x 1/2" self-tapping screws included to fix the lid and the holes are pre-drilled, so set-up is quick.
