Dow Corning Firestop Putty Aerosol


The Dow Corning pink, 750ml firestop putty aerosol is a moisture-curing, one-component polyurethane foam with fire-rated properties. The product is composed of Polyurethane and contains environmentally safe propellant. It is fire resistant for up to 5 hours.

Features and Benefits


Adheres to most common building materials including wood, concrete, wallboard and plastic, except for smooth-surfaced polyethene, silicone, oil and grease or similar substrates

Can be used at a temperature ranging between 5°C and 30°C. The optimal processing temperature ranges between 18°C and 25°C

Full foam setting time is 12 hours

Foam can be cut after 1 hour. Once fully set, the foam can be trimmed, sawn, sanded, painted or plastered over

Thermally stable between -40°C and 100°C

Durable and permanent except when exposed to UV-rays

The heat insulation values are excellent

Pink colour for easy identification

Aid to mechanically fixing and insulating window frames and entrance door linings
