The RS PRO Cat6a cable is a shielded ethernet cable designed for the reliable and high-speed transmission of data and information across networks, both locally (LAN) and via the internet.;The Cat6a ethernet cable features all Copper conductors and wires and greatly outperforms the Cat6 cable with transmission speeds of 10GB at a frequency of up to 600MHz, twice that of the Cat6 cable. ;The RS PRO Cat6a cable is designed with a foil screened twisted pair build that greatly reduces noise and crosstalk enabling a consistent performance and protecting the cable from Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI).;The RS PRO Cat6a network cable is backwards compatible with previous ethernet cable designs including Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 and the Cat6a excels with the following setups:

The RS PRO Cat6a ethernet cable features a flush moulded design to enable installation in tight spaces including side-by-side in high-density network switches. The cables RJ45 connector features a protective bubble which allows the ethernet cable to be installed and removed again and again without snapping the locking clip ensuring a secure fit every time.
