The Fortex Ferric Chloride solution is a full strength 45 Baume solution which is used for etching copper printed circuit boards (PCB) and various other metals. It is recommended to wear necessary protective clothing and other safety equipments before using the same. For etching on copper, brass and bronze the solution or etchant needs to be diluted with 30% added water.
Usable temperature range between: 35°C and 55°C
Always use at the optimum temperature of approximately 45°C in a temperature controlled etching tank for safe and efficient etching
