The housing of this product is made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic to ensure it has great durability and impact and abrasion resistance. It has an Ingress Protection (IP) rating of IP65, which means it's protected from dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.

The alarm sounder is handled and packed in compliance with American (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and European (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic discharge (ESD) certifications to ensure the risk of discharge is reduced. It also conforms to Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) criteria so it includes only minimal amounts of any harmful substances.
