Allen Bradley Guardmaster 0110N Safety Edge Sensor, Protected Area 2m, SET Wire Lead - 440F-E000028RS


This safety edge sensor from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley Guardmaster range is a pressure-sensitive device. Use it on the leading edge of a variety of equipment to improve safety. It functions by sending a stop signal to the machine upon contact with an external object in its path. The unit is made up of a flexible wire-cored conductive rubber encased in a second non-conductive rubber material that enables it to accommodate repeated compressions without losing form. Since it has no rigid internal parts, its rubber profile is protected from damage and lasts longer.

This sensor is pressure sensitive. When an object comes into contact with it, the pressure applied triggers a stop signal from its wire-cored rubber to the machine's control unit.
