Improve safety in your workplace with this edge sensor from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley Guardmaster range. It's commonly found on the leading edge of large-scale industrial equipment to prevent crushing hazards. It's made of NBR/CR (nitrile butadiene/chloroprene) material and has a conductive core that sends a stop signal to the machine on contact with an obstacle. A flexible multi-stranded copper-wire core prevents problems from resistance build-up over time. It also has a 0110N Safedge profile, indicating that the unit has increased resistance to oil and can be used in environments with the potential for oil spills. With a maximum operating voltage of 12V, it protects operators from exposure to hazardous voltages.
