The CONEC D-Sub R/A 9.4mm connector features an insulator made of thermal plastic UL 94 V-0, contacts made from copper alloy, and a steel shell. The rivet and board lock are made from copper alloy. The contact plating includes a 50μin nickel under plate, with gold flash on the contact area and solder tails. It has an operation voltage of 250 VAC maximum, a current rating of 3A, and a contact resistance of 15 mOhm.
