TE Connectivity Full Metal Shielded Rail D-Sub Backshells


From TE Connectivity, a range of superior quality full metal D-Sub back shells for use with D-Sub miniature connectors. The robust two parts die cast hoods are secured with self-retaining screws for easy assembly. Hoods are available with two strain relief options, crimp for harsh environments and Extreme vibration and screw strain relief quick cable preparation. With their three cable exit options and 360° EMI/EMC shielding, the all metal hoods are ideal for use in EN50155 systems.
For crimp strain relief, a suitably sized Crimp Flange and Crimp Barrel are required. Selection would depend on the O/D of cable used. Refer to data sheet for size calculations.
