Belden Alpha Wire Control Cable, 30m Length, 4 Core - Alpha Essentials Series - 1174C SL005

This control cable from Belden Alpha Wire is an industrial-grade insulated wire that transfers electrical data from equipment and machinery. To maximise efficiency, it contains four core wires for the transmission of data, signals and power in one cable. It's an unscreened type with a simplified construction for applications where NEXT (near-end cross talk) isn't usually an issue. The copper conductors are 22 AWG (American Wire Gauge) and have a tin plating to prevent corrosion.

Features & Benefits

• 30m length so it can reach across industrial work areas
• Low halogen content to limit toxic gas emission if the plug comes into contact with heat
• Operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C for use in extreme conditions
• Flame resistant behaviour prevents the cable from catching light

Applications

• Computer peripherals
• Security alarms
• Point-of-sale systems
• Banking systems

Is this control cable hardwearing?

The cable comes with a durable PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket to ensure it can resist damaging moisture and dust. This tough outer sheath prevents cracking or fraying caused by rough handling.
