Hubner+Suhner Adaptors for QN interfaces

Hubner+Suhner adaptors are used to measure applications with QN interfaces. These adaptors support calibration with open

standard interfaces, due in part to the same electrical length and the same return loss behaviour of all these adaptors,

the swapping method can be utilised.

Identical electrical length

Fast measurement set-up change: e.g. male to female

Measure devices with QN interfaces

Precise calibration for phase critical measurements

50Ω, 11GHz

HUBER+SUHNER QN Series

The QN series is based on the inner dimensions and performance of the N connector; however, instead of a threaded coupling mechanism, a SNAP-ON mechanism is used, offering a time-saving and fail-safe mounting. The QN series also allows increased packaging density compared to N connectors due to the fact that no torque spanner is required to fasten the coupling nut. Additionally, the outer dimensions of QN are smaller than N, offering the advantage that TNC-sized flanges can be used on QN connectors.

50Ω impedance

Frequency range up to 11GHz, although most connectors are return-loss optimised for up to 6GHz

Similar performance to N but much easier to mate

User-friendly, fast and secure

Time saving thanks to SNAP-ON mating

No additional space for a torque wrench is needed between connectors
