Goodfellow Ceramic Bead Ceramic White +1200°C
These ceramic beads from the trusted Goodfellow series offer excellent electrical thermal and insulation properties. They protect wires to ensure safe operation in industrial settings. Also known as fish spine beads, they interlock with each other so that they fit comfortably around flexible wires and take the shape easily. The beads are supplied in quantities to cover 3.5 m of wire.
The beads are naturally abrasion-resistant and can withstand operating temperatures of up to +1200°C, making them an effective choice for applications where wires need to run past a heatsink such as in cartridge heaters. As they are made from superior quality steatite Ker 220 material, they show good mechanical strength and no humidity absorption.
These beads are stringently tested for durability. Ceramic beads are commonly used in 3D printers, air or vacuum systems and for insulation of curved wires and electrodes.
