Double Row Self - Aligning

Radial Self-Aligning Ball Bearing

These bearings are designed to accommodate shaft deflection when running and will also cope with initial misalignment. The double row bearing is designed primarily to withstand radial load with a small capacity for axial load. Also available with ring seals (rubbing seals) made from oil-resistant, non-wearing synthetic rubber with steel reinforcement on both sides (Type 2RS1).

Open Bearings

ETN9 and KTN9 are Open self-aligning bearings without a seal available in parallel or Taper bores.

Sealed bearings

2RS1TN9 are sealed (NBR) bearings packed with grease with a lithium thickener suitable for temperatures from -40°C to + 100°C. They are sealed for life, so should not be heated above 80°C before mounting and must not be washed out under any circumstances.

TN suffix denotes polyamide cage

• Used for agricultural equipment for enhanced performance

What is the significance of the two-row design for stability?

The two-row design enhances load distribution and stability, allowing the bearing to withstand higher radial loads without deforming, which is crucial in applications with varying loads.

How does the open type provide benefits in maintenance?

An open type design facilitates easy access, making it simpler to perform regular maintenance and inspections, which can lead to an extended service life.

Can this bearing handle misalignment effectively?

Yes, it is specifically designed to accommodate misalignment resulting from inaccuracies during installation, ensuring smooth operation in dynamic applications.

What is the impact of the CN clearance on operational performance?

CN clearance enables optimal fit and function even under normal thermal expansion conditions, ensuring the bearing operates efficiently without excessive play.

How does the non-metallic cage contribute to overall performance?

The non-metallic cage reduces friction during operation and provides better lubrication retention, which can improve the bearing’s overall efficiency and lifespan.
