How do Pneumatic Solenoid Valves work?

Pneumatic Solenoid Valves direct or stop the flow of compressed air in a pneumatic system. They use electromagnetic force to operate and contain a solenoid coil. When electrical current passes through the coil it generates a magnetic field, which then causes a ferrous metal rod to move and opens the valve. They offer an advantage as they are easy to program and install.
