What is a Filter Regulator?

A filter regulator is a device which is formed of two parts: a filter, and a pressure regulator. The filter cleans the air flow in the system by removing contaminants such as dirt, dust and water. The pressure regulator controls the output pressure so you can maintain a constant air pressure, which is highly important in a pneumatic system. They are useful as they use space more efficiently than two separate units and they also minimise the risk of leaks.
