The Endress+Hauser two-channel NAMUR isolating amplifier designed for the safe operation of proximity switches and open/mechanical contacts with resistive coupling elements. It features a universal power supply (24 to 230 V AC/DC) and one relay output (changeover) per channel. With its approval for intrinsically safe (Ex i) circuits up to zone 0 (gas) and zone 20 (dust) in the Ex area, it can be used in safety equipment up to SIL 2 in accordance with IEC 61508.
