Festo Analogue Pressure Switch, 1 to 12 Bar Operating Pressure, G 1/4 Port Connection - PEV-1/4-B-OD

Regulate the flow of relative pressure in your pneumatic system using this pressure switch from Festo. For versatility, you can use it to moderate both compressed air and water. Thanks to its broad operating pressure range between 1 and 12 bar, it's suitable for use in low-pressure and high-pressure equipment. This unit features a DIN plug for quick connection to an electrical power supply. A yellow LED indicator displays its operating status for easy monitoring. Its tough aluminium die-cast housing is resistant to impacts for lasting use.

• IP65 (ingress protection) rating indicates it's dustproof and protected from low-pressure water jets
• Ambient operating temperature range -20°C and +80°C to withstand challenging environments
• Can be lubricated for smoother movement
• Lightweight at 194g for reduced strain on equipment

Applications

• Industrial pumps
• HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems
• Oil and gas industry

How does this pressure switch work?

When this switch detects a change in pressure levels, it triggers an internal micro-switch, which opens or closes the control circuit to release or withhold pressure based on pre-set levels. For durability, the silver contact is corrosion-resistant and can withstand demanding operations.
