The L-Com USB Hood is a protective backshell designed to enclose USB Type B connectors in custom cable assemblies or field repairs. The housing is constructed from black LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material, which meets UL94V-0 flammability standards for enhanced safety in industrial and confined environments. It is part of the USBHD2.0 series, which replaces older CNUSB and HOODUSB models and supports USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 applications.
