Need to measure extreme temperatures in harsh, corrosive environments? This RS PRO Type N thermocouple has a probe made from Inconel 600, a special alloy with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +1250°C and very high resistance to corrosion.
The unit's measuring point is a single element, insulated junction that protects the sensor from disruptions due to electrical noise and interference. This provides highly accurate temperature readings, even in challenging industrial settings or near electronic equipment.
This thermocouple has flexible mineral insulation on the probe, providing versatility in where you install it while keeping the product suitable for use with high-pressure, vacuum or high-vibration applications. You can use this device in chemical reactors, annealing furnaces and steam boilers.
