RS PRO Nomex Thermal Insulation, 304 mm x 200 mm x 0.13 mm
Achieve high inherent dielectric strength and mechanical robustness in tough industrial environments with this resilient Nomex thermal insulation paper. As it has been smoothed and compressed – or calendared – it has a long-lasting and lightweight finish. This thermal insulation sheet from RS PRO is resistant to heat and flames, which makes it suitable for use in high-temperature environments.
This super-thin sheet – 0.13 mm thick – improves the average lifetime of electrical items. Insulation systems with Nomex paper have a lifetime of more than 20,000 hours at +220ºC. It also reduces the chance of damage and helps keep machines safe in instances of electrical overload and spikes in temperature.
The thermal insulation gives high resistance to chemicals and solvents and is flame-retardant. It's also resistant to extremely low temperatures, humidity and radiation, which makes it suitable for use in electrical equipment found in factories.
