Can I use this fuse to replace a gR type fuse?
This aR-type fuse provides protection from short circuits only. It doesn't offer any protection from overcurrent, so it shouldn't be used as a replacement for a gR-type fuse.

A thyristor is a four-layer semiconductor device that's used as a high-speed switch. Thyristors can replace mechanical relays as they have no moving parts and are therefore more reliable.
