Eaton Bussmann Series Red Spot™ Range, Type 'T' HBC Fuses

The Red Spot range of offset slotted fuses (or bolted tag fuses) from Eaton Bussmann is specifically designed for the protection of general industrial applications such as power distribution, cable protection and motor protection. Available in BS88 British Standard fuse sizes from A1 to A4, offset slotted and bolted fuses are suitable for general purpose rating (gG) and dual motor rating (gM) motor protection types.

Features and Benefits

• 2 to 200 A rated current
• Breaking capacity 80 kA up to 690 V ac
• Type A1 rated up to 550 V ac/ 250 V dc
• Type A2 rated up to 660 V ac / 460 V dc
• General purpose (gG) and dual motor rated (gM) types
• Low power dissipation
• ASTA 20 certified

As the fuse allows for the starting surge of a motor its full load current must not exceed the lesser of the dual current rating. e.g. 20 M25 must not have a continuous load of greater than 20A.

Eaton British Standard Fuse, A1 Size, 10A - Eaton Series - NIT10

Protect your industrial equipment from the harm of current overloads and short circuits with this Eaton British Standard fuse. The component can withstand low-voltage currents up to 10A (amperes). Its bolted-style tags attach to your fuse holder and the cylindrical body contains a wire that creates a sacrificial link. This melts when the circuit overloads, breaking the flow of electricity to prevent harm to the user as well as mechanical wear and electrical fires. The fuse is made for general-purpose industrial applications such as power distribution and cable or motor protection.

Features & Benefits

• High rupture capacity (HRC) ensures wire doesn't melt too soon to prevent needless breaks
• 80kA (kiloamps) breaking capacity ensures even strong overloads are stopped safely
• 44mm fixing centre makes it easy to slot the fuse into your circuit's fuse holder

What's the speed rating of this British Standard fuse?

This British Standard fuse has a speed rating of T which indicates it's slow-acting and will tolerate a brief inrush of current.

How many of these British Standard fuses do you get in a pack?

This British Standard fuse from Eaton comes in packs of five.
