The RS PRO range of uninsulated spade connectors keeps on improving. We are pleased to introduce a male spade connector made from high-quality brass. This connector is perfect for connecting electrical cable wire, offers a locking lance that ensures secure retention of the terminal and is compatible with popular wire size; 16 AWG to 14 AWG. During application this spade connector has a crimp termination, so the mating of connector and wire can be easily achieved with a good quality crimp tool.

How to crimp a male spade connector
Mating a wire with a terminal is an easy application achievable by professional and DIY users alike. Slide the appropriate wire into the tunnel on the connector and using pliers or a crimp tool apply moderate clamping pressure until a perfect union is achieved.
