This connector is perfect for connecting electrical cable wire, offers a locking lance that ensures secure retention of the terminal and is compatible with popular wire size; 16 AWG to 14 AWG. During application this spade connector has a crimp termination, so the mating of connector and wire can be easily achieved with a good quality crimp tool.

When selecting the right terminal for your application, you should consider the following;

• Wire size 'mm' (metric) or 'AWG' (American Wire Gauge)
• Tab size to which you will be connecting the terminal.
• Width of the receptacle should match the width of the tab it is mating with and vice versa.

Slide the appropriate wire into the tunnel on the connector and using pliers or a crimp tool apply moderate clamping pressure until a perfect union is achieved.
