• Light weight of 74.9g to place minimal strain on your equipment

When should I choose an SSR with instantaneous turn-on?

Instantaneous turn-on is a good option for systems that need split-second reaction times, but it isn't a good fit if you need to get a handle on capacitative loads. To handle such loads, you should use the zero-cross switching version of this unit (291-2359).

How does an SSR differ from an electromagnetic relay?

SSRs have no moving parts, unlike their electromagnetic counterparts. This makes them resistant to wear, so they last longer.

Temperature can affect current rating; please consult the data sheet for potential derating.
