RS PRO Nitrile Rubber Bonded Seals

These RS PRO seals comprise a metal annulus to which a medium nitrile elastomeric ring of trapezoidal cross-section is bonded. They provide high and low pressure sealing for ports on fluid systems where mineral based hydraulic fluids or mineral based engine lubricating oils are present.

Features and Benefits:

Available in both metric and BSP-based Imperial sizes
Hardness: 1 RHD 85-95
Seals come in a range of sizes
Reliable in high pressure applications

Typical Applications:

Seals are used in various fields and industries including:
Automotive
Plumbing
Aerospace
General engineering.
Bonded seals are a type of washer and are available in various materials and standard sizes. They are suitable for sealing under the heads of bolts and threaded components, pipe couplings and connector applications where excellent contact is needed foe sealing gases, oils and fluids.

FAQs
Types of Seals and O-rings
Seals and O-rings come in various materials suited to different purposes. Some have a high temperature tolerance for use in both hot and cold applications, while others are made to be chemically resistant for use in lab or test equipment. Available in a wide range of sizes both in single size packs or in seal and O-ring kits for general maintenance. Sizes vary between seal and ring types both in diameter and thickness, these variations help provide an exact and precise seal to protect the joint. Both Metric and Imperial sizes are available to replace new and old seals and rings whether maintaining modern parts or older machines, engines and other mechanical parts.

Why RS PRO?
