The RS Pro pre heating plate is a superb device designed to raise the correct working temperature of PCB’s and enable electronic assemblies to be pre-heated prior to repair. It can be used for preheating circuit boards and other processes that require uniform heating. Pre-heating plates offer so many benefits such as components set to the correct working temperature thus ensuring perfect soldering conditions and vastly reduce damage to the PCBs from thermal shock. Ideally, they should be considered as a vital accessory for soldering / de-soldering applications.
