TE Connectivity Slide Switches - MSSA104D
The MSSA104D slide switch from TE connectivity is a very popular switch that offers an SPDT contact configuration with an On-None-On switch operation. They are easy to use in circuit boards and prototyping board applications to turn power on and off.
What is SPDT?
SPDT mean single pole, double throw. Single pole refers to the number of individual circuits you are switching and the throw is how many connections you are making on each of the poles. An SPDT switch is a 3 terminal switch, one terminal is use as an input and 2 terminals are used as an output.
What is Break-Before-Make?
The break-before-make feature stops the momentary connection of new and old paths by opening the first contact before closing the new contacts.
