The Jumo Smart Tube enables diverse temperature measurement to be implemented with a thermostat or dial thermometer and a platinum chip temperature sensor. This occurs at only one measuring point. JUMO dicoTEMP 100 combines the strengths of several devices. The new solution allows the user to continue using the devices that are already part of the process at the same measuring point and, at the same time, functionally extend them with electrical temperature measurement. This allows diverse temperature measurement in the range of -40 to +260 °C to be implemented, thereby achieving increased process reliability. Since only one measuring point is required, the planning and installation effort is very low. The smart tube is made of stainless steel and has protection types IP66, IP67, and IP69. As a result, it is very robust and durable. It can be used at ambient temperatures from -40 to +85 °C. The resistance signal can be converted into an analogue or digital signal via a transmitter.
