RS PRO Self Tapping Screws
Supertite screws are generally used to attach a component to a surface,
used in a multitude of manufacturing industries including automotive and
white goods as examples. They are designed to cut (i.e. tap) their own thread
into a pre-drilled or punched hole in a wide range of metals and plastics.
They have a trilobular (three-sided) cross-section that helps minimise
friction

They have a trilobular (three-sided) cross-section that helps minimise
friction
this requires a lower drive torque, resulting in longer battery life.
They are case-hardened, giving them the necessary strength to cut the
thread into the surface. Supertite screws produce a high prevailing torque,
and ultimately, resistance to loosening caused by vibration, hence the name
Supertite. The cross recess (pozi) produces a great drive, enabling the screw
to be inserted quickly, whilst the countersunk head leaves the screw surface
flush, once in place. The bright zinc plated (BZP) finish offers resistance
against corrosion. These screws conform to DIN 7500ME-Z specifications.

Why Would You Choose These Screws?
The cross-recess drive enables our screws to be inserted quickly, saving you valuable time on your projects. The countersunk head design adds to the ease of installation, providing a flush, neat, and aesthetically pleasing finish that ensures a professional look every time.
