The Loctite purple, medium strength, high viscosity acrylic-based flange sealant that cures when confined in the absence of Air between close-fitting metal surfaces. It cures very slowly to avoid shimming between flanges, and is designed to seal close-fitting joints between rigid metal faces and flanges.
