IMI Norgren Cylinder Seal Kit, 80mm Diameter - QA/8080 Series - QA/8080/00

Upgrade your pneumatic cylinder by replacing the old seals with new ones from this cylinder seal kit from IMI Norgren. It comes with different types of piston seals and O-rings to make routine maintenance simple. The seals are compatible with cylinders from the PRA/181000/M, PRA/182000/M, and RA/8000 ranges, so you can be sure you're using the right product for your equipment. As they're made from tough PUR (polyurethane) material, the piston seals in this set can withstand extreme temperatures in industrial settings.

Features & Benefits

• O-rings are made from solvent-resistant NBR (nitrile butadiene rubber) for use in demanding environments

• Compatible with cylinders with an outer diameter of 80mm for medium-sized applications

Applications

• Agricultural equipment

• Oil and gas industry

• Water treatment facilities

Why should I replace the seals in my pneumatic cylinder?

Replacing a pneumatic cylinder's seals keeps it working efficiently and prevents system downtime. It also lets you upgrade older pneumatic equipment without replacing the entire system.

How do I disassemble the cylinder to replace the seals?

To disassemble the cylinder, remove the tied rod nuts and tie screws on both sides. Carefully remove the front end cover and piston rod assembly, then separate the barrel and rear end cover.
