The action of pressing the button mechanically links the contacts in the electrical circuit and lets your machine operate. As soon as you take your hand off the button, it springs back up so the connection is broken and the machine stops.

Zero Force & Opto Touch Switches

Actuated by sensors using patented Field Effect Technology which converts the touch of the operators hand into an electrical output.
