Eaton Safety Relay, 24 V DC - ESR5 Series - ESR5-NV3-30

This reliable safety relay from Eaton continuously monitors signals from safety devices and switches off rapidly in the event of an emergency. Safety functions include emergency-stop disconnection, monitoring light guards or movable guards and two-hand monitoring. For ease of use, the versatile unit offers both automatic and manual reset methods. You'll commonly find this type of relay used to maximise safety in plant machinery applications.

• Compact dimensions of 22.5 (length) x 114.5 (width) x 99 mm (depth) for use in areas where space is restricted
• Pluggable screw terminals for quick and simple installation
• Ingress protection rating of IP20 for protection against solid objects of 12 mm in size or greater
• Off-delayed timer to keep parts of your machine running when the input circuit is turned off, minimising downtime

What is two-hand monitoring?

Two-hand monitoring is used on machines where there's a high risk of injury. It requires both of the operator's hands to be outside the danger area. This safety relay can monitor machine operation and disconnect power if these conditions aren't met.
