Rockwell Automation Minotaur MSR126R and MSR126T, Single or Dual Channel Safety Relays

Experience dependable basic fault detection for your control safety system with the Minotaur MSR126R and MSR126T Safety Relays by Rockwell Automation. These 22.5mm relay devices have 2NO (Normally Open) Safety Rated Outputs, which have independent and redundant internal contacts to help ensure the safety command. With these Safety Relays you can prevent risk of damage to machinery and protect personnel from injury, minimising downtime and giving you peace-of-mind.

MSR126R/T: This relay is designed specifically for connection to a single channel safety gate, a single channel e-stop or a light curtain that provides cross fault detection.

MSR126.1R/T: This relay is intended for connection to a dual channel safety gate or e-stop, as it performs cross fault detection across the inputs.

MSR126R and MSR126.1R: These safety relays are made for applications where a monitored manual reset is necessary. Monitored manual reset requires the use of a manually operated normally open momentary switch to activate the outputs.

MSR126T and MSR126.1T: These units are intended for use in applications which demand automatic/manual resets. This type of reset allows a jumper across the S33-S34 circuit, and so does not perform output monitoring.

Features and Benefits:

• Stop category 0
• Cross fault monitoring
• Monitored manual or automatic reset
• Cat. 4 per EN954-1
• 2 Safety contacts N.O.
• Single/dual channel operation

440R-N23123 Single Channel Safety Relay

The 440R-N23123 MSR126R/T safety relay has 2NO safety outputs and the power supply is 24 V ac/dc. It has monitored manual reset and fixed terminals. The enclosure has an ingress protection of IP40 (NEMA 1), DIN 0470, while the terminal protection rating is IP20, DIN 0470. This safety relay can be DIN rail mounted (35mm), allowing simple installation.

What are Safety Relays?

Safety relays are devices which are used to detect errors or faults in a machine safety system, and can implement safety commands when they identify these errors to bring the risk down to an acceptable level. By doing this, they defend against hazards which could cause injury to personnel and damage to machinery. Single function relays manage one specific function, while multi-function relays can oversee different activities. Safety relays can also be connected to each other. They are often used in industrial environments such as factories, as part of a safety control circuit for dangerous machines. Typical applications include: safety mats, emergency stop push-buttons, light curtains, and magnetic switches.

Rockwell Automation is a global leader in industrial automation and digital transformation, and brings smart manufacturing to life. With a long legacy of creating Allen-Bradley® integrated control and information solutions, we help make you as productive as possible. Our portfolio of sensing, safety and motor control products can support your move towards smart machine applications. Allen-Bradley® IO-Link sensors are data-enabled and communicate with all field buses, providing diagnostic and health information about the device before a machine stops, and enabling quick production changeovers through fast parameter downloads from PLCs into the device. This reduces machine downtime and increases manufacturing OEE. For safety components, products with built-in diagnostics simplify the set-up of the smart device, and reduce maintenance, leading to a more efficient, machine data-driven approach.
