SKF Needle Roller Thrust Bearing, 17mm ID, 30mm OD - AXK 1730

This needle roller thrust bearing from SKF combines a compact footprint with a high degree of stiffness. When used with the faces of adjacent machine components that can act as raceways, it takes up no more space than a conventional thrust washer. The parallel bore means it can be used mounted directly onto a shaft without the need for an adapter sleeve. As the cage is made from sheet steel, it combines high strength with low weight.

• Roller axes are perpendicular to the shaft of the bearing's bore, making it suitable for supporting heavy axial and shock loads

• A maximum speed of 3200rpm with grease or 4300rpm with oil makes it suitable for supporting high rotational speeds

Applications

• Pulp and paper processing

• Automatic transmission systems

What types of load can needle roller thrust bearings accommodate?

Needle roller thrust bearings can handle very high axial and shock loads, but you can't use them to support any kind of radial load.

Does this bearing have a centring flange?

As part of SKF's AXK series, this bearing doesn't have a centring flange. If you need a bearing with a centring flange, opt for SKF's AXW series of needle roller thrust bearings.
