Hanna Instruments Sucrose Refractometer


The Hanna Instruments sucrose refractometer has measurement ranging between 0%Brix and 85% Brix. The refractive index of a sample is measured to determine the concentration of a substance within a liquid. It employs the measurement of the refractive index to determine the % Brix of sugar in aqueous solutions. Samples are measured after a simple user calibration with deionized or distilled water. Within seconds the instrument measures the refractive index of the sample and converts it to % Brix concentration units. The result is automatically displayed in concentration units.
