Eaton RCD, DIN Rail Mounting, Screw Terminals - PKNM Series - 236279 PKNM-25/1N/C/003-A-MW

Install this RCD from Eaton to stay safe from electric shocks caused by current leakage. With its type-C tripping characteristics, it allows inrush currents sufficient to start up equipment but will trip instantaneously if its 25A current rating is exceeded by five to ten times. Trip sensitivity of 30mA means it springs into action even when the current leakage is very small. That makes it ideal for guarding against ground faults in residential settings or small commercial operations such as B&Bs or doctors' surgeries. Once you've found and rectified a fault, resetting the RCD is a simple matter of flicking the toggle switch.

Features & Benefits

• DIN rail mounting style to help you build an organised system
• Red and green contact position indicators for easy monitoring
• Screw-terminal method for vibration-resistant connections
• Single-pole plus neutral configuration protects both the phase and neutral conductors in single-phase loads

What equipment can I make safe with a 25A RCD?

A 25A RCD is a versatile option that's the ideal protector to install in circuits powering everything from IT hardware and heating systems to outdoor lighting and power tools in small workshops.
