    Product Details

Schneider Electric Red Round Momentary Pushbutton, NC, Panel Mount - Harmony XB4 Series - XB4BA42

This NC (normally closed) slow-break pushbutton from Schneider Electric lets you stop, pause or start a piece of equipment with a simple press. Its screw terminals ensure a secure connection, while its standard size of 22mm makes it simple to mount on a panel. The unit can handle high voltages up to 600V AC/DC, so it's suitable for use in heavy-duty applications. For added electrical safety, it's protected against short circuits by a 10A cartridge fuse. The chromium-plated bezel resists chemicals and corrosion commonly found in harsh environments. Thanks to an IP66 (ingress protection) rating, you can be sure the pushbutton is protected against dust and high-pressure water jets.

    • Wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C for use in extremely cold and hot environments
    • Reliable service life of 10,000,000 cycles for long-lasting performance
    • Red colour for immediate identification on busy panels

    Applications

    • Automotive industry
    • Emergency-stop in factories
    • Automated manufacturing

    Why should I use a slow-break switch?

A slow-break switch doesn't snap open or closed but follows the speed at which the button is pressed. This slight time delay allows you to change the status of a process more slowly, allowing your equipment to start up or shut down gradually.
