Schmersal Contact Block for NDR E-Stop, NO Contact, 400V - EF03.2

This contact block from Schmersal is used to make or break electrical connections. It quickly cuts off power to industrial equipment in the event of an accident. It has silver contacts that are highly conductive for a reliable electrical connection.
The unit is made of a glass-reinforced thermoplastic material that's durable and impact-resistant for long-lasting use in demanding environments. As this material is flame-resistant and self-extinguishing, it won't promote the spread of flames in the event of a fire.

What is a normally open contact?

A normally open (NO) contact is one that's in a non-conductive state when the switch is de-energised. This means it doesn't allow current flow until it's switched on.
