Molex SMA Female Coaxial Connector, 50Ω, Right Angle - 73391 Series - 73391-0083

This SMA (SubMiniature version A) female coaxial connector from Molex lets you quickly connect a wire to your printed circuit board (PCB). Thanks to its right-angle body orientation, you can install it around corners and in tight spaces without risking damage to the connector. A threaded coupling ensures a secure hold that won't come loose, even in high-vibration applications. Solder this product into place to create a long-lasting, reliable connection that's resistant to moisture and dust. It's safe to solder at a process temperature of up to +260°C for two ten-second cycles.

• Beryllium copper contact material with strong heat resistance to prevent blowouts

• Gold plating to help resist build-ups of rust and corrosion for a long-lasting connection

• Impedance level of 50Ω allows the the connector to carry both voltage and power at an even rate

• Contains low levels of halogen to reduce the risk of toxic fumes in the event of a fire

Applications

• Medical industry

• Telecommunications applications

• Wi-Fi networks

What are the advantages of an SMA connector?

This SMA connector is suitable for high-frequency applications up to 18GHz (gigahertz). It's also lightweight at only 2.89g, so it won't put extra strain on your PCB.

Molex SMA RF Coaxial Connectors

The Molex range of high- performance SMA RF Coaxial subminiature Connectors are suitable for microwave frequencies. The SMA design of threaded couplings gives uniform contact of the outer conductors to reduce reflections and attenuation at higher frequencies. High mechanical strength and durability are also ensured by the threaded SMA design.
